Pastor Perry Stone Ministries - Celebrating Christmas has Nothing to do With Your Salvation and Eternal Destiny

God always marks the conception of a child (Samson, Jesus, John the Baptist) and Christ was likely born on or near the Feast of Tabernacles...then going back 9 months is Hanukah and takes you to about December 25th (conception date).

This date was recognized long before Constantine. A Jewish rabbi wrote and article to Christians as he could not understand why some were so hateful about the one day of the year the world (even other religions) identify with Christ and the Christian faith.

If you don't like the "traditions" of Christmas (and they are traditions), then you should be thankful one day a year a lot of people...even unsaved...are reminded of the Christ. Quit being so hateful to others and "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."

Celebrating Christmas has nothing to do with your salvation and eternal destiny...it is a tradition like Thanksgiving,or the fourth of July and actually marks the conception of the infant. After all life begins not a birth but at conception. So be happy and not like a Christian scrooge when others talk about our Messiah coming into the world!
